REACH: Improvement of guidance and methods for the identification and assessment of PMT/vPvM substances

Description: 

This report presents updated guidelines to prospectively or retrospectively use the REACH registration process to identify PMT/vPvM substances. The guidance was applied to all 15469 REACH registered substances as of May 2017. Of these, 260 met the PMT/vPvM criteria, 224 met the PM criteria. Of the complete list, 122 chemical constituents are prioritized for further investigation to assess the need for introducing risk management measures.
