The German Water Centre (TZW), Stadtwerke Rastatt and ZeroPM are holding a symposium on 12 and 13 June 2024 in Rastatt and Karlsruhe (Germany) dedicated to eliminating PFAS from drinking water. 

The event will include a state-of-the-art review of techniques for reducing PFAS in drinking water and a visit to the Rastatt wastewater treatment plant, where the technologies studied as part of the ZeroPM project will be presented. 

The event is aimed at a wide range of stakeholders: people working in the field of water purification, political decision-makers, academics, water utilities, etc.

1 The German Water Centre (Technologiezentrum Wasser (TZW)) is leading work on removal strategies and is working closely with Stadtwerke Rastatt to provide innovative remediation solutions for the PFAS contaminated water.

2 ZeroPM is a European Research project that will interlink prevention, prioritization and removal strategies to protect the environment and human health from persistent, mobile and toxic substances.
